About

Hello, I am Fuzhen Yin, and welcome to my website " Geo-Social Complexity".

I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University at Buffalo where I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Lucie Laurian and guided by a group of great minds including Dr. Andrew Crooks and Dr. Emmanuel Frimpong Boamah

Prior to coming to the US, I stayed in different countries and cities for my studies. I obtained my master’s degree in Spatial Data Science and Visualization from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) at University College London (UCL) in the UK, and a national landscape architect diploma (Diplôme d'État de Paysagiste) from École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux (ENSAP Bx) in France. My educational background started at Tianjin University where I obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning.
